Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of nuqod (the “Service”). By using the app or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal age in your country) and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for accurate account information.

2. Account & security

• You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
• Passwords must be at least 8 characters.
• You may reset your password via a one-time code sent to your registered email.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are misused.

3. Service description

nuqod is a personal tool for tracking income, expenses, budgets, and savings. We are not a bank or financial intermediary. Insights are informational only and not financial, tax, or investment advice.

4. SMS auto-tracking

• Optional Android-only feature; you must enable it explicitly in settings.
• You grant us a limited license to process matching SMS text to extract transaction data.
• Extraction may contain errors; review entries before relying on them.
• You can disable the feature at any time in app settings.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of data you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, sync, and process it to provide the Service. With sync enabled, a copy is stored on our servers; with sync disabled, work remains local per your settings.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) break the law; (b) attempt to compromise the Service; (c) misuse SMS tracking; (d) submit false data or impersonate others; (e) resell the Service without permission.

7. Availability & changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where appropriate.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties. We do not guarantee SMS extraction accuracy or completeness of financial data.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential damages, or loss of data or profits arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations. Survival clauses (disclaimer, liability limits) remain in effect.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

12. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Contact us via the website or in the app with questions.
